A CoE Office of Graduate Education Professional Development Series Event

December 2, 2015
12:00-1:30 Johnson Rooms, 3rd floor, Lurie Engineering Center

Description: Don’t you hate it when you can’t find the research data or photo you are looking for? Come to this workshop to learn about how you can keep your files better organized, whether it is for your research here at U-M or for your personal files on Google Drive or your home computer. We will go over best practices for naming and organizing your files, which file formats are best to use, methods for versioning, and tools that can help keep you organized. By applying what you learn in this workshop, you will see immediate benefits as you work with your digital files.

Presenters from the Duderstadt Center Library: Paul Grochowski, Leena Lalwani and Sara Samuel
