Graduate students are invited to enjoy a day trip to Frankenmuth: "Michigan's Little Bavaria."  Have lunch, shop, learn about the area's rich German culture, or have fun at The Adventure Park.  The CoE Office of Graduate Education will provide the transportation, and you pay for your meal and activities.  Graduate students are allowed to bring one guest.  Since space will be limited, please only register if you absolutely plan to attend.  Questions may be directed to Andria Rose,

10:00am          Board bus at Murfin bus stop across from Pierpont Commons (southbound side of road)

10:15-11:45      Ride to Frankenmuth

12:00-1:30       Lunch at Bavarian Inn or eat on your own at a restaurant of your choice
                        Depending on how many sign-up to eat at the Bavarian Inn, we may or may not reserve a private room.

1:30-4:30         Option 1: Explore Frankenmuth on your own (bus leaves at 4:30)

                   Option 2: Go to the Adventure Park

($33 non-refundable to be paid at 1240 LEC before 7/1 (hours: M-Th 7:30-2:00, F 7:30-11:30). Pay with exact change or a check made out to The University of Michigan.  Note: if the place is forced to close due to severe weather, you will be given a voucher to use on your own a different day.)

            1:45 Ride bus to Adventure Park

            2:30-4:30 Participate in park activities

                                    4:45 Bus pick-up

4:45-6:15     Return to campus
